Dancing for: My mom and my grandma

Bio: My name is Abigail Bergreen and I am a Senior from Bethesda, Maryland. Wake 'N Shake is important to me because of recent experiences that my family has had with cancer. After losing my grandmother to cancer, my mom received a breast cancer diagnosis just days after. It was a scary and confusing time, but it happened to coincide with Wake 'N Shake 2021. Participating in the event and raising money for the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund helped provide me with a sense of direction during this difficult time. I am excited and proud to be a part of the exec team, for the third year in a row, for this amazing event and I hope that the money we raise will help many individuals going forward!
